Conclusions

“Know Your School Day” This is one of my most awaited events in a school year. When I entered in UP High I discovered a lot of new things, for example this Know Your School Day. I really haven’t heard about this event. At first, I thought that this is all about knowing the history of UP High but I was wrong!

Do you want to know how I arrived at my conclusion that I was wrong?

Well, it’s my instinct…just joking!!! All right I have proven that I am wrong because of what I have heard. When the class chairperson during my freshman year explained this event to us, she said that, If I am right, know your School Day is about to all students who are aspiring to be teachers or just for knowing how to be a teacher feels. When I heard it, of course I am thinking if I got what to have to be a teacher. When I knew that the deadline was that very day, I rushed to or class chairperson and applied to be a teacher in two subject matters. At least I was accepted or hired by the teachers on those two subject matters.

My experience when I was in first year was very unforgettable until now that I am in second year. Although it is a little bit hard this year because I applied in two of the most must studied subjects which are Biology and Social Science. But I have found this as a challenge because I have to study the lesson I am assigned to very carefully. And on that big day, meaning the day I am going to lecture my classmates I felt excited and on the same time nervous. Nervous because I am asking myself if I really do know about what I am talking about. And in addition, I am afraid because I might tell my students who are my classmates something wrong and then my teacher on that subject will get angry to me or she will not trust me anymore as well as my classmates. Fortunately, I have not committed a mistake and I told myself, “Thank God! What a relief! “

Being a teacher really takes a big hard work. Good for me ‘cause I have experienced this kind of experience, a teacher to your classmates and the feeling of what it feels to be the one talking in front and is listened by the whole class and at the same time the feeling of talking in front and is not listened by your students.

Now I have concluded that a student like me must listen to the teacher talking on the platform because it is very hard to waste your saliva to people who are not interested (but must have interest). And I also concluded that the teacher or I must say that the teachers must throw jokes or anything that can make his or her students’ laugh in order for the whole class to be not sleepy or not to feel bored.

Know Your School Day is a learning experience and at the same time making students realize what it takes to be a teacher.

So for those who haven’t experienced this, you must apply as a teacher next school years’ Know Your School Day and must keep it up until you reached forth year.
